In the final episode from the TANGO KERs series, Ilias Syrigos, Senior Research Engineer from the University of Thessaly, presents the TANGO Reference Architecture – a three-layered modular design that enables secure, decentralized and trustworthy data sharing. The architecture integrates trust, management and user layers, while supporting interoperability with IDSA and Gaia-X principles.

A central element is the FIWARE Data Space Connector, which extends existing open-source solutions with advanced privacy, security, and AI/analytics features. The video also highlights how the architecture and connector are deployed in real use cases, demonstrating their role in enabling efficient and secure data exchange across organizations.
